Moonlight night. 94x143

Night silence envelops the sea, sky and coast, plunging the world into boundless darkness, eternal and absolute. Amazing night colors make you see the familiar landscape in a new way.

The greenish-golden palette of the illuminated sky and the lunar path against the backdrop of the surrounding night darkness makes this landscape mysterious and bewitching.

The mystical beauty of Aivazovsky’s painting “Moonlit Night. The bathhouse in Feodosia ”attracts with a combination of unusual color, a sense of amazing calm, hanging in the still air. The sea is like a liquid mirror, reflecting the ghostly, firefly glow of the moon. It seems otherworldly, in contrast to the warm light of human habitation.

Somewhere far away, in a foggy haze the city sleeps and the ships doze with their sails lowered. The world is immovable. It seems that we hear a ringing silence spilling over the night sea in Feodosia.
